Healthy sleep
Sleep deficiency is alarmingly prevalent, with recent research suggesting more than 20 percent of us don't get adequate sleep. This impacts on our productivity and wellbeing, yet is one of the most overlooked health concerns in organisations. This session outlines the importance of obtaining quality sleep and the impact a deficit can have on our everyday lives. We identify some of the psychological barriers to obtaining sleep, and provide some practical, evidence based strategies to achieve quality sleep more consistently.

UCOPEA: a coping skills model for handling change
The challenges and demands of work and life, particularly where we are faced with organisational change, can make even the most hardy among us find it difficult to cope. Learning some techniques could be the difference in how you navigate these challenges. UCOPEA is an easy to understand 6-step model for those who have a specific challenge in their lives. It blends the research of positive psychology and cognitive behaviour therapy with the principles of mindfulness.

Mental health & safety for leaders
This session is aimed at building awareness about good mental health practices for leaders, as well as proactive prevention of mental health issues. The group and legal responsibilities of health and safety officers are covered in detail. A systematic approach for developing an action plan to reduce risk and promote psychological health and safety at work is provided.
