BACKGROUND

Workplace burnout is recognised by the World Health Organisation as an occupational phenomenon. It’s an experience that can significantly impact wellbeing and performance, not to mention job stability.

It is known to consist of feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion, increased mental distance from one’s job (or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one's job) and reduced professional efficacy.

The problem is complex, however there are certain strategies that people can adopt to address and prevent burnout.

OBJECTIVE

This session explores the neuroscience of how our brain responds when we work in a hyper-alert, hyper-productive state for a prolonged period of time. It covers practical ways of noticing early signs of burnout and how to respond in a way that helps wellbeing, with an emphasis on optimising energy.

This webinar is specifically designed for high performance organisations, where internal and client demands are high, often requiring their people to work to tight timeframes and provide high quality, robust, fact-based deliverables.
